Requirements: Responsibilities: - Administer medications and treatments, and monitor patients for side effects and reactions.
- Provide appropriate medical care to include assessing, observing, and speaking to patients.
- Record details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health.
- Prepare patients for exams and treatment.
- Create, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with medical team.
- Assist in medical procedures as needed.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment.
- Draw blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work.
- Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions.
- Supervise licensed practical and vocational nurses, nursing assistants, and nursing students.
- Be constantly aware of safety considerations and well-being of patients as well as the cleanliness and sanitation of the environment.
- Follow safety protocols and DHS facility procedures.
