Job Summary and Qualifications Under the direction of the VP, Quality, the Performance Improvement Coordinator will assist in the coordination of all aspects of the performance improvement program; support directors and managers in complying with PI activities as it relates to regulatory compliance and lead teams in performance improvement initiatives Responsibilities: Will assist with the coordination and maintenance of the hospital's performance improvement initiatives; Holds positions on focus groups (fall committee, Stroke, Sepsis) to assist in developing formal PI plans; Identifies trends and makes recommendations based on analysis of results and regulatory requirements. Develop, implement and monitor performance improvement plans based on data, input from leaders and staff, and personal observation Oversee and lead a formal Quality Improvement program developing performance improvement targets across the organization. Provide appropriate feedback based on data analysis and observation. Assumes responsibility for meeting state and national regulatory requirements, as well as quality outcomes Assist in investigation of complaints and implement corrective action plans Other duties as assigned Demonstrates working knowledge of AIDET, utilizing with each patient interaction Regular, reliable attendance is required to ensure the highest level of patient care Follows hospital safety and quality standards and expectations, as it pertains to job performance and patient care Behavior demonstrates understanding and adherence to Belton Regional Medical Center's ICARE values. What qualifications you will need: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, ACLS Basic Cardiac Life Support, BCLS Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing Belton Regional Medical Center is an 80+ bed acute care facility.
