MCCH s Perinatal Services Unit seeks Full Time L&D/Nursery/Post-Partum RNs for the 7am -7pm shift. This is a full time position with excellent benefits.

Job Description:

Under the direction of the O.B. nurse director and/or designated charge nurse demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care. Shares responsibility for individual patients or an entire patient population. Provides quality nursing care for gynecological, maternal and newborn patients. Cooperates with other professional staff to provide services that reflect the caring philosophy of the hospital.

Required Licenses and Certifications:
  • Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact states
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications maintained.

Minimum Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.

Minimum Work Experience:
  • Minimum of six (6) months' recent experience as a professional nurse preferred but not required

  • Physical Exam
  • Respirator Fit
