A Registered Nurse may supervise duties performed by LPNs and CNAs in a team care setting under the direction of the Nurse Manager., Nursing Supervisor, and/or Director of Nursing. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with RN Supervisor to ensure the best possible functions of the assigned unit Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Prepares and administers and records prescribed medications Records patients' medical information and vital signs. Assesses the patient's ability to do routine daily tasks. Recognizes and manages geriatric syndromes common to older adults, including cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, hematological, musculoskeletal, endocrine, neurological, psychiatric/psychosocial, integumentary, sensory, and pain problems. Prepares equipment and aids physicians during the examination and treatment of patients. Communicate with family members regarding patient Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms. Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting.
