Job Title: RN - PACU/RECOVERY
Location: Aiken, SC
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: 9 am - 7:30 pm (4 10-hour shifts per week, rotating off day Days: 4/week, varying day off week-to-week Hours)
STIPEND IS PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY
REFERRAL BONUS ON EACH SUCCESFUL REFERRAL
Job Duties:
• Monitor post-operative patients' levels of recovery and consciousness from anaesthesia and provide updates to the medical team as needed.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs.
• Observe patients for signs of side effects of anaesthesia medication.
• Treat pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms of anaesthesia and administer medication as prescribed.
• Update charting (EMR), patient files, and medical records.
• Educate patients and their families on post-surgery care and answer any questions.
