Full-time RN, with Brighton Hospice you will work with our clinical team to provide patient care. We believe that the end of life should be just as beautiful as the beginning. Hospice care provides patients with the quality of life they deserve and freedom from pain as they leave this life.
This role requires daily driving to provide care where our patients call home, this could be a home setting, facility setting, hospital, etc.On an average day as a
Registered Nurse, you will
- Provide initial and ongoing assessment of the impact of the terminal diagnosis on daily living and the patient's physical, functional, spiritual, psycho-social, and environmental needs
- Partner with an interdisciplinary team to implement and manage plans of care, determining scope, priority, and frequency of services based on patient/family needs, and recommending revisions as necessary
- Consult with and educate the patient/family regarding the disease process, self-care techniques, end-of-life care, and ethical concerns
- Communicate with the medical director and other clinicians regarding changes in patient needs and outcomes of intervention
- Prepare and submit documentation of observations, findings, and services provided
- And perform additional, related duties as needed

QualificationsDesired Skills/Qualifications - Must have an active RN license
- Have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation for the purpose of traveling to our patients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to complete patient charting on a daily basis
- A passion for providing care
