We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to deliver exceptional patient care in the 36-bed medical trauma unit. In this role, you will provide patient-centered direct nursing care, including telemetry monitoring, to a diverse patient population. What you will do in this role

As a registered nurse in the medical trauma unit, you will provide therapeutic care to patients being treated for cardiac, respiratory, renal, and other conditions.

You will assess acute changes in patients, monitor and analyze heart rhythms, interpret ECGs, note arrhythmias, and intervene in emergencies.

Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, providers, cardiac specialists, and patient care staff, you will administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs by establishing policies, procedures, and protocols of the facility.

During every shift, you will monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions utilizing our computerized documentation systems.

As a part of the clinical team, you will coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team and participate in patient/family education.

When dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers, and other customers, you will maintain cultural and diversity awareness and much more.
