Job Title: RN-Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Location: Seattle, WA

Summary:

Trusted Staffe is partnering with a leading hospital in Seattle, WA, to find a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for their medical-surgical unit. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with experience in medical-surgical nursing to provide exceptional care to patients with diverse medical needs during the night shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Nursing Professional Practice: Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes and smooth transitions across the care continuum.
  • Patient Advocacy: Partner in care planning to promote patient autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs, advocating for ethical and holistic care.
  • Facilitate Learning: Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members, including students.
  • Safety and Quality: Prioritize patient, self, and environmental safety. Identify and correct problems, integrate evidence-based practices, and use data to improve patient outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development, practice to the top of your license, and promote a culture of inquiry.
  • Leadership: Lead and coordinate teams, delegate effectively, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as an equal member of the interprofessional care team.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
    • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
    • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
    • 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Preferred:
    • National Certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing or a related specialty.

Work Schedule:

  • Night Shift
  • 12-hour shifts
