We're currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas; The one city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement. Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38-bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. This unit affords you with ample learning opportunities with a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities. Our Medical Telemetry unit also offers:
Resident Physician designated Teaching Unit
ED door to door admissions
Highly engaged team

Robust Unit Based Council
Flexible scheduling

We have a varied medical/telemetry population including:
Sepsis
Chest Pain
Patients requiring isolation or admission to negative airflow rooms
Patients requiring skin and wound care- DHFT, PEGs, Wound Vacs
Diagnostic procedures including thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
Nasogastric Insertion and Maintenance
Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance
Patients requiring cardiac monitoring due to chest pain or arrhythmias
Patients with GI abnormalities
Trach care, CBI, IV Therapy

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
MAJOR - Nursing
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
