Description: RN/LPN WITH PHARMACOLOGY This employee is responsible for the day to day health office operation including first aid and medical triage in the building. Job Goals: Provide direct nursing services, clerical assistance and technical support to both the RN and District Nurse in order to optimize the delivery of comprehensive school health services to students and staff including first aid, illness, and emergency care in response to the nursing assessment and in accordance with professional standards under the direction of the RN and District Nurse. You will administer appropriate medication. Assist in collection and maintenance of health records and data. Perform clerical duties such as: data entry, filing and preparing files, rosters, emergency cards. Health protocols Assists with weekly, monthly, and annual reports Completes accident/incident reports Documents students care/nursing notes Maintains the daily environment of the health office Assists with vision and hearing screenings and other screenings as directed to include dental, BMI, pediculosis inspection. Utilize existing technology Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: RN: Illinois RN license LPN: Illinois LPN license with Pharmacology 1 year experience in licensed field CPR Interpersonal, communication, tech organizational and clerical skills Daily Hours: 8 hours per school day with flexible start and end times dependent on student needs Compensation: Salary with experience Reports to: District Nurse Application Procedure: Apply online at and click the APPLY button
