Your Role as a Labor & Delivery RN:

As a Labor & Delivery RN, you will:

  • Provide Compassionate Care: Deliver safe and individualized care to patients throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum stages, ensuring the well-being of both mother and newborn.
  • Collaborate with a Team: Work as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, including obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Clinical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of labor and delivery best practices, utilizing your skills in assessment, monitoring, and intervention to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  • Patient Advocacy: Act as a strong advocate for patients and their families, providing education, support, and guidance throughout the birthing process.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Required:
    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
    • Active Montana Registered Nurse License
    • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association
    • National Provider NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (within 90 days of hire)
  • Preferred:
    • National Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., RNC-OB)
