A typical day for an RN includes:
Implementing and coordinating the delivery of care in collaboration with physician and resource health care personnel; ensuring Resident rights are maintained at all times
Documenting all pertinent information regarding Nursing care, care plans, observation of condition and behavior, Medicare charting, admission, discharge, and Patient teaching
Completing monthly/quarterly assessments and documentation as assigned. Attending care plan meetings as assigned
Providing functional direction and assistance to Charge Nurses and CNAs. Directing Resident Care to include making rounds to ensure continuity of care. Answering call lights as needed
Setting up and administering prescribed medications and treatments including IV therapy. Operating a variety of medical equipment as necessary
Communicating effectively with the Residents, families, visitors, members of the health care team, and other disciplines
RN Requirements:
Graduate from Accredited Nursing School and a minimum of one to two years related experience preferred
Valid State License/Certification
Basic CPR/first aid training
Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
