Job Description:

ED RN - Mt. Auburn Hospital - Nights 7p-7a 36 hours/every other weekend/rotation as needed

Education: Experience: 2 + years tele experience, previous travel experience preferred
Requirements: ACLS, BLS.
COVID Vaccines + Booster required at time of submission.
Active MA license required at time of submissions
Local candidates not accepted
Cannot have worked perm/travel for any Beth Israel facility within the past year.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Emergency Department Registrar. As an Emergency Department Registrar, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient registration of patients in the emergency department. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to multitask will contribute to the smooth operation of our emergency department.

Duties:
- Greet and register patients upon arrival in the emergency department
- Collect and verify patient information, including personal details, insurance information, and medical history
- Ensure all necessary consent forms are completed and signed
- Coordinate with medical staff to prioritize patient care based on severity of condition
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records using eClinicalWorks or similar software
- Assist with patient flow by coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters
- Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality regulations when handling patient information

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and infectious disease care is a plus
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
