Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Emergency Department Registrar. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately registering patients in the emergency department and ensuring that all necessary information is collected and documented. Your role will be crucial in providing efficient and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and register patients in a timely and professional manner
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
- Obtain necessary signatures and consent forms from patients or their legal representatives
- Enter patient information into the electronic medical records system accurately
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Assist with answering phone calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in registration or admissions
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems

Pay: $2,800.00 - $2,855.00 per week
