The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Guilderland, located in Altamont, NY, is currently seeking an RN Educator.
- The RN Educator is responsible for Staff Development & Infection Control.
- This position is full-time, primarily during the day shift.
- Salary is up to $105,000.00 per year with benefits.
- Educators are eligible for a $7,500.00 sign-on bonus.
RN Educator Duties Include:
- Developing & implementing, evidence-based, quality education programs/activities to promote individual development, competency & delivery of high-quality clinical service.
- Collaborating with management, staff and external partners to assess, integrate, and evaluate educational needs & resources.
- Developing, reviewing & updating training manuals, policies/procedures, related job aides & clinical pathways.
- Educating staff in the clinical policies criteria and procedures.
- Conducting new staff orientation.
- Conducting quality review audits of clinical team and strategic partners to ensure that company protocols and standards are being met.
RN Educator Requirements Include:
- NY State RN License.
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field.
- 3-years of clinical experience as a registered nurse preferred.
- Managed care case management experience working with dual eligible populations.
