RN Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator

Overview Located on approximately 10 acres of land adjacent to Florida Hospital, Apopka Health and Rehabilitation Center is designed with a split floor plan to provide resident privacy. The 101,811 square foot center includes 36 private and the 72 semi-private well-appointed suites for a total of 180 beds. Enclosed exterior courtyards feature multiple access points and plenty of shaded areas to maximize resident comfort and relaxation. A large state-of-the-art therapy gym opens onto a courtyard featuring an occupational therapy track or mobility garden. Residents enjoy daily activities in addition to an on-site movie cinema. Responsibilities RN Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator Our center is seeking a candidate that can lead the center Clinical Reimbursement department to provide reimbursement process-related support in accordance with the requirements of the Federal and State regulations, Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) manual, Managed Care contracts and Company policy and procedure. Responsibilities include: Working directly with the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) to ensure that clinical systems and documentation support the care and services provided Providing ongoing Quality Measure (QM) training to the department, tracks facility QMs, and works with the DNS on the development of improvement plans Monitoring PointClickCare (PCC) scheduler and Dashboard routinely and assigning work within the department to ensure timely completion of assessments Coordinating and participating in the onboarding and preceptorship of new Minimum Data Set Coordinators (MDSCs) in the completion of the resident assessment (MDS) in accordance with current Federal and state rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the resident assessment Maintaining a high level of knowledge of regulatory requirements and advising the appropriate UR team members on deficits or concerns related to process and protocol surrounding RAI accuracy or inefficiency Acting as a liaison for the UR department by collaborating with MDSCs and other IDT members, to implement and maintain processes that ensure quality and regulatory compliance At the direction of the Clinical Reimbursement and Revenue Retention Manager, collaborate with and assist the Manager of Clinical Reimbursement in performing auditing and correction tasks related to quality outcomes, survey successes, and integrity Fully or partially completing all OBRA assessment types, all PPS assessment types, and assessment item sets for HMO/Insurance payers as determined by facility status and needs Benefits What's in it for you?
