A Typical Day for a RN, Clinical Quality Specialist:

  • You will serve the organization in a provisional status, providing key support for MDS Coordinator, Director of Health Services and Assistant Director of Health Services positions across the organization.
  • This position assists our communities in achieving the goal to provide the highest levels of quality during periods when a community experiences a loss in one of our key clinical leadership positions.
  • The primary purpose of this position is to periodically step into an interim clinical leadership position to support vacant positions within our Communities for Healthy Living. You may:
  • Serve as a Director of Health Services, Assistant Director of Health Services or MDS Clinical Resource in a temporary capacity for community leadership, the completion of MDS assessments, and/or Care Plans and other clinical leadership responsibilities.
  • Will keep up the day to day operations in the position they are serving within our Electronic Health Record system (Point Click Care)
  • May provide education, training and oversight of the MDS/RAI policies and processes and all CMS and State regulations.
  • Will evaluate documentation practices and assure that the clinical records reflect optimum services to be provided.
  • May serve in other clinical leadership roles periodically as requested.

Compensation:

  • The starting pay for this role is $95000 / year and will be based on years of experience.
