Job Requirements:

FL RN (Registered Nurse) license

At least 5 years of RN experience in an acute care(hospital) setting required

At least 3 years of RN CSU(open heart) experience requierd

Current BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certifications (American Heart Association)

About the Job:

The RN Clinical Coordinator - assists and supports the Nurse Director in the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of delivery of nursing care services within the Emergency unit to ensure quality nursing

Provides clinical leadership for patient care activities; prepares and facilitates staff schedule; directs professional and non-professional nursing personnel; participates in team member development and evaluation; implements and leads process improvement activities with the Emergency unit; represents Nurse Manager as appropriate; provides direct patient care and attends meetings, as required.

Exhibits ability to set priorities, adjust and implement change, work independently, perform effectively in crisis situations, and serve as a resource.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Maintains yearly age specific and job specific competencies.
