Job Requirements:
- FL RN (Registered Nurse) license
- At least 5 years of RN experience in an acute care(hospital) setting required
- At least 3 years of RN CSU(open heart) experience requierd
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certifications (American Heart Association)
About the Job:
- The RN Clinical Coordinator - assists and supports the Nurse Director in the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of delivery of nursing care services within the Emergency unit to ensure quality nursing
- Provides clinical leadership for patient care activities; prepares and facilitates staff schedule; directs professional and non-professional nursing personnel; participates in team member development and evaluation; implements and leads process improvement activities with the Emergency unit; represents Nurse Manager as appropriate; provides direct patient care and attends meetings, as required.
- Exhibits ability to set priorities, adjust and implement change, work independently, perform effectively in crisis situations, and serve as a resource.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Maintains yearly age specific and job specific competencies.
