Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab), you will be an integral part of a specialized team focused on diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions through various catheter-based procedures. Your role will involve assisting cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and other healthcare professionals in performing cardiac and vascular interventions. With a keen attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality care in a dynamic and technically advanced environment.

Responsibilities:
Patient Preparation:
Prepare patients for catheterization procedures, providing thorough explanations and ensuring informed consent.
Monitor vital signs and assess patients' overall health status before, during, and after procedures.

Procedure Assistance:
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements.
Operate and monitor specialized equipment, including fluoroscopy machines, to visualize and guide catheter insertion.

Post-Procedure Care:
Monitor patients closely post-procedure to assess for complications and ensure a smooth recovery.
Administer medications and manage potential adverse reactions or complications.

Patient Education:
Provide detailed post-procedure instructions to patients and their families, addressing potential side effects, complications, and self-care measures.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR).

Education:
Grad of an Accredited Program MAJOR - Nursing.
State License
BLS(AHA) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
ACLS
Covid Full Vaccinated.
