Are you available for a temporary contract opportunity in Florida ? For this position you will use your nursing experience to provide therapeutic and compassionate patient care. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN ) that works well in a hospice environment.The position is a Field position, which requires driving to homes, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities.The qualified candidate will work a 13 week contract with an amazing team of a physician and medical assistants.facilities.Hours: Full time RN 40 hrs. per week, Monday through Friday 8a 4:30p or 8:30a 5p. Also, able to work with a weekend rotation, which consist of two (2) weekend days per six (6) week schedule. You would have a day off during the week they are working the weekend.Productivity Expectation: 25 visits per week on average, to include weekly IDG (interdisciplinary group) meeting weekly.Territory: Lake Worth to Delray BeachJob Details:RN will be responsible for assessing patients' needs while utilizing nursing processes.RN will manage the patients record and ensure proper documentationRN will demonstrate a collaborative approach to patients' care with team membersRN will ensure discharge needs are metRN will support patient's familyWe cover your malpractice and pay as 1099.We do not offer health benefitsQualificationsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESBSN preferred but not requiredFlorida Nursing License1 year medical surgical experience preferred or a minimum of one year Hospice experience preferredBLSB. Skills:Preferred CHPN Certification.Must possess ability to assess physical and psychosocial needs of patient and family.Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.Organized, flexible, self-motivated with ability to relate to all levels of the professional medical team.Ability to develop and apply effective customer service skills.
