Nurse Next Door Fort Worth is looking for a RN Care Ambassador who is available 8 to 16 hours per week.

As an RN Care Ambassador you are responsible for the following main duties and responsibilities:

Will be available to Nurse Next Door staff while on-call in person or by telephone.

Will ensure that a client's plan of care or care plan is executed as written.

Will ensure that an appropriate health care professional performs a reassessment of a client's needs when there is a significant health status change in the client's condition, or at the physician's request, or after hospital discharge.

Will be responsible for all clinical service programs; however, may delegate specific responsibilities to other personnel.

Will follow up on complaints directly received by patients, as needed.

Will be involved with developing, maintaining, and implementing Nurse Next Door's emergency preparedness and response plan.

Will complete a pre-survey conference seminar in preparation for state survey.

Will be available in person or by telephone during state survey entrance conference and present in person at the exit conference of all other surveys.

Will monitor the coordination of multidisciplinary services.

Will ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and monitored.

Will serve on the QAPI and Infection Control committees and oversee the QAPI and Infection Control programs.

Will serve as a liaison between staff, physician, client and community through open and effective communications.

Will be willing to represent Nurse Next Door at community functions and/or participate in public speaking engagements to various organizations, physicians, and other interested parties.

Will help keep all records up to date, organized, and ready for inspection at any time.

Flexibility is required

Part time: 8-16 hours per week

On-call hours optional
