Job Details

Required:
Two to four years' experience in the risk control or safety field
Bachelor's Degree in safety, engineering, or related field

Preferred:
Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate in Risk Management (ARM)and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent
Experience with general liability and property insurance and other insurance coverages and applications
Experience with apartment real estate or public housing operations

Essential Functions:
Identifies property and general liability concerns through onsite property inspections or by reviewing third-party inspection reports
Communicates, through reports or other means, identified life safety, operational, and property concerns to Group's Underwriting, Claims, Account Management, and Agency departments
Conducts loss analyses to develop and implement loss control programs tailored to the needs of the policyholder
Delivers successful presentations to audiences at all levels of an organization
Collaborates with senior team members and management to creates risk management educational materials, such as articles and templates to be shared with policyholders
Is able to walk properties, climb stairwells, and go up and down ladders to inspect building components
