RF Technician II with Security Clearance

Our firm is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to support our customer in Fort Meade, Maryland as a RF Technician who will be responsible for:
Documenting and providing analysis on military RF CONOPS and provides customer feedback to depict weaknesses and recommended improvements. Documenting, reviewing, and developing configurations/construction of product hardware and various architectures dependent on mission within the DoD. Performing hardware testing and functional testing on one or multiple product types. Performing complete hardware and functional testing on both in and out of service environment on multiple product lines. Inventory all job-related materials and understands proper use of tools. Staying current on installation documentation and reads and interprets engineering specs, prints and drawings. Analyzing single service simple architectures and RF products as they relate to wireless communications and their use cases. Analyzing and making recommended improvements to hardware and various architectures using LOS, SATCOM, and HF links Analyzing complex (multi service) architectures and RF products as they relate to wireless communications and their use cases. Reviewing and providing detailed testing improvements on service environment on multiple product lines. Reviewing and interpreting engineering specs, prints and drawings; make recommended corrections and reports concerns. Performing power verification on multiple product types and, when necessary, performing all physical and mechanical installation activities. Education/Experience Requirements:
High school diploma with formal military product training of advanced technical training. A combination of training and field experience is desired. Eight (8) years of experience in performing hardware and functional testing of RF related elements and products as they relate to wireless systems. Security Clearance with an appropriate agency Polygraph is required.
