Job Responsibilities of the Revenue Cycle Specialist:
- Process clean claim submissions and aggressively follow up with payers for reimbursement.
- Post payments accurately and reconcile accounts.
- Conduct appeals, root cause analysis, and billing tasks efficiently.
- Assist with other revenue cycle-related duties as needed.
Preferred qualifications for the Revenue Cycle Specialist:
- Billing or Coding Certification.
- Outpatient billing experience is a PLUS
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 or CPT coding.
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care billing.
