Responsibilities Assist school employees with establishing retirement accounts Analyze current retirement plans and investments to provide recommendations based on the best interest of the member Promote retirement products and services during district and school visitations, promotional campaigns, and the use of marketing tools Conduct in-person and video presentations to individuals or groups to enhance awareness of plan features and grow plan assets Collaborate with administrators at districts and schools Participate in benefits fairs and new employee orientation Plan, schedule, and conduct school visits and workshops Facilitate new relationships with school districts to increase awareness Schedule and conduct one on one appointments to recommend and implement plans for member accounts Create and execute a business plan to meet established goals for new accounts, assets, and retention while maintaining a high level of service Contribute to the development of presentation and marketing materials Develop and deliver financial and retirement plans Manage performance reports, financial documents, and income projections Support members staying on track to reach their goals by periodically contacting them to determine if there are changes in their financial status Prepare account reviews on a frequent basis to determine if life changes, economic changes, or financial performance indicate a need for plan reassessment Train credit union team members on retirement products and planning Attend required training, calls, and meetings requested by manager or Suncoast Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures, firm and FINRA regulatory requirements Implement full disclosure of all fees, charges, and regulatory disclosures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements) 2+ years of financial services experience FINRA Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) and Florida insurance license or ability to obtain within 90 days Frequent travel required Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred Knowledge of defined contribution plans 403(b), 457(b), 401(a), and IRAs Knowledge of the Florida Retirement System (FRS) and Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP) Demonstrated record of consistently meeting or exceeding performance expectations Strong business development and relationship management skills Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, school districts, and prospective members Ability to prioritize tasks, deal effectively with competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management Ability to analyze and resolve difficult and complex problems Ability to influence others through explanation of facts, policies, and practices Works independently with general supervision
