Overview:

The Retail Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the retail warehouse. Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee incoming merchandise and products that arrive to the warehouse.
  • Review purchase orders and match shipped merchandise to those that were ordered, note any discrepancies, document items received, and update inventory databases.
  • Review warehouse processes to make sure that operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Record daily deliveries and shipment to maintain information required for periodic inventory reconciliation.
  • Coordinates and manage cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
  • Recruit, hire, train and schedule all retail warehouse staff. Manage retail warehouse staff members by appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Assign and delegate job tasks to warehouse personnel to ensure operational objectives are achieved.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • 1-3 years related expirience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • 1-2 years of theme park experience
  • Microsoft Office Experience
  • Inventory Control and supply chain management experience.
  • Must be able to read and write.
  • Must be able to read English at a high school level.
  • Must be able to write in English at a high school level, including proper grammar and punctuation.
  • Must be able to use a computer to type basic reports.

Physical Requirements:

  • Climbing, balancing stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, picking, pinching, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motion of the hands, wrists and/or fingers.
  • Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Exposure to environmental conditions such as rain, direct/indirect sun and heat for extended periods of time.
  • Subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
