Position: Retail QA Automation Lead

Location: Onsite In Columbus, OH

Pay rate to the candidate: $65/hr. W2 (AI) Max.

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail QA Automation Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail software testing, automation frameworks, and team leadership. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions for our retail software products, ensuring high quality and reliability throughout the development lifecycle.

5+ years of Solid Automation Testing experience

Experience developing Test Automation frameworks from scratch.

Experience leading QA Teams (Onsite and Offshore)

Strong SQL skills is desired.

Experience testing Oracle RMS and other Supply Chain applications.

Strong Inventory and planning experience

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks for retail software applications.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Lead a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.

Analyze test results and collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software defects.

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in retail software testing and automation.

Requirements:

Proven experience (X years) in retail software testing and quality assurance.

Strong expertise in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Experience leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
