Retail Dining Grill Cook

Do you love to cook and serve outstanding food but you're tired of the bar/restaurant scene? Gettysburg College is looking for a PM cook/prep person to become part of a team that works hard to bring creative and nutritious meals to about 2000 students, faculty and staff daily.

We are an intellectual community of close to 2,300 students and nearly 750 full-time faculty and staff. Gettysburg College seeks candidates whose experiences have prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Hours are generally Sunday-Thursday 3pm-11:30pm with Friday and Saturday off, or Tuesday-Saturday 3p-11:30p with Sunday and Monday off. Days off and hours vary during the summer months.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. One to two years of high-volume food service experience is highly desired. Previous experience in institutional food preparation would be an additional plus, but not required.

You must have a positive attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will work nights and weekends as scheduled. This position requires a lot of standing, bending, reaching and walking in addition to lifting up to 20 pounds.
