Retail and Sales Associate Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do) - Drive Sales growth within the sales and service departments. Assist in attracting, mentoring, and developing team members in support of sales excellence.
- Be proficient and professional in email, phone and internal communication with customers and employees.
- Consistently monitor and understand MTD revenue and gross profit standings and be prepared to present ideas to positively impact them often.
- Assist in growing the retail team through providing great communication and follow-up with all customers.
- Assist in creating a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
- Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product, styles, features, and benefits.
- Build customer loyalty through positive and professional interactions around customer satisfaction.
- Execute Company s direction on merchandising and operations; manage expenses when and where needed.
- Responsible for communicating with customers on inbound and outbound freight of special ordered products. Inventory control and making sure that the inventory and sales meet company goals and standards.
- Work with team members, shift supervisors and all necessary personnel to take care of complications as they arise.
- Communicate with fellow team members to learn of any equipment problems or malfunctions and take care of them as they come up.
- Will have knowledge and experience working in an industrial shop/setting.
Retail and Sales Manager Shift Info - Day Shift, 830-5pm and any Saturdays will be from 7-12.
- Monday Friday- Extra days/time occasionally may be required if the business flow requires it.
Retail and Sales Qualifications (Requirements / Skills) - Previous experience required. This is not entry level or able to train on the job
- MUST have experience doing fast paced customer service for sales/retail for minimum of one year in production environment.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Able to read measurements.
- Well-organized and history of showing initiative.
- Knowledge of current OSHA safety rules and regulations
- Familiarity with power tools
- Able to pass a background check.
- Able to work in the US.
