Restaurant General Manager

Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:

Provide strong leadership and guidance to the restaurant team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations and work in tandem with the Executive Chef to have a cohesive team
Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service and quality
Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability while controlling costs
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal supply levels and cost-efficiency
Recruit, train, and mentor staff to uphold company standards and deliver outstanding service
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Restaurant General Manager Requirements:

Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment for at least 3-5 years
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
Excellent financial management abilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering consistently exceptional guest experiences
Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office applications
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
