Minimum Requirements Education High School diploma or equivalent Must be currently enrolled as a full-time Respiratory Therapy program Experience Must complete form in house training in Respiratory therapy Procedures Licenses/Certifications/Registrations Current Certification in BLS Preferred Requirements Preferred Education Have completed a semester of clinicals through Respiratory Therapy Program Preferred Experience Knowledge and skill base of delivering Respiratory medications and performing general Respiratory procedures Preferred Licenses/Certifications/Registrations N/A Core Job Responsibilities Must be able to withstand the stress of doing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Must be able to withstand long hours of standing, walking, stooping, bending and sitting. Must be able to lift or move patients and equipment used. Must be able to push / pull force up to 55 pounds. Must be able to respond calmly and efficiently in crisis situation. Must be able to work as a team member with peers, other department managers and staff and administration. Average manual dexterity to reach, manipulate, move, etc., equipment and hearing and vision within or correctable to normal range. Perform care in a manner that supports the Regional Respect philosophy.
