Job Description Respiratory Therapy Nightshift: 12 hour shifts 7pm-7am $10,000 STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENTS As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, at Grandview Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Requirements: NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) as long as you are RRT eligible and actively pursuing registry. Current license by the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy (ASBRT) At least one year of clinical experience in respiratory care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) & Neonatal Recitation Program (NRP) Certifications About the Job: Under the direction of Physicians and and Respiratory Director, perform all respiratory procedures in accordance with NBRC, State Regulations, and departmental policies. Recommend and implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on observed abnormalities. Provides respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations. Manages mechanical ventilation and artificial airways in critical and g care areas. Collects and analyzes arterial blood gases as well as administers aerosolized medications and other respiratory treatments. Initiates, monitors and manages patient's oxygen through various devices including high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation. Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures. We know it's not just about finding a job.
