Our Respiratory Therapists care for everyone - premature infants to patients over 100. Our Respiratory Therapists are part of the lifesaving response teams that assist during patient emergencies. Here are some of the responsibilities of this role: Complete vent management, transport, conscious sedations, and blood gas analysis. Ability to share input and discuss orders with providers to meet patient needs. Support Inpatient, Emergency, Obstetrics, and ICU with respiratory needs. Qualifications: Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of MN Board of Medical Practice Respiratory Therapist Registry. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy, can be obtained upon hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ACLS Certification prior to practicing independently post orientation. CentraCare - Monticello: 25-bed critical access hospital including Birthing Center, Medical/Surgical Unit, Pediatrics, and ICU 10-bed Geriatric Behavorial Health Unit. Extensive Outpatient Services: Level IV Emergency Department with ambulance service, Heart Care, Surgical Services, Sleep Center, Diabetes & Nutrition Education, Integrated Behavioral Health, Vascular Care, and Wound Care.
