Respiratory Therapist

Full time position for a respiratory therapist for a vent unit in a long term care facility. Flexible hours. DUTIES 1. Plans, implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services. 2. Operates, maintains and manages mechanical ventilators and equipment. 3. Provides Respiratory Therapy services. 4. Provides Respiratory Therapy diagnostic activities. 5. Provides/coordinates clinical respiratory services under the physician orders. 6. Performs respiratory/clinical assessments. 7. Checks ventilators every four hours and as needed. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Must possess a current license in the state of current practice.
