Respiratory Therapist

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist(NICU) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide care to patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary issues. This role requires expertise in respiratory treatments and patient assessment.

Duties:

- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate respiratory care plans
- Administer respiratory treatments and medications as prescribed
- Monitor and record patients' progress and vital signs during therapy
- Collaborate with physicians to adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients on respiratory health management techniques
- Provide emergency respiratory support in NICU

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Certification in BLS,PALS,ACLS and NRP.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy
- Experience in critical care, pulmonology, and pediatric care preferred
- Familiarity and experience with NICU settings
- Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring
