Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and gather relevant medical history
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, such as oxygen saturation levels and heart rate
- Assist with intubation and ventilator management in the ICU and critical care units
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately

Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Respiratory Therapist

- Respiratory Therapy degree from an accredited school
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to the respiratory system
- Proficiency in performing basic life support techniques
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Ability to administer medications via inhalation or other approved routes
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work well under pressure in emergency situations
