Respiratory Therapist

The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory pharmacologic, diagnostic, and therapeutic modalities to all age groups. The practitioner provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other team members, the physician, and the patient/family to achieve optimal outcomes. This position acts as a liaison with other clinical departments. The individual provides clinical leadership throughout the system. The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with other team members, directors and physicians. The Registered Respiratory Therapist works under the indirect supervision of the Respiratory Care Supervisor. EDUCATION Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Required Certification/Licensure Ohio Respiratory Care Board and Registered by the NBRC
