Duties As a RESILIENCE AND RISK REDUCTION COORDINATOR, GS-0101-11, you will: Performs duties as the Resilience and Risk Reduction Program Coordinator that requires the incumbent to analyze trends by utilizing qualitative and quantitative measures to ensure the effective implementation of the Program. Serves as the staff consultant on all aspects of the Resilience, Risk Reduction and Suicide Prevention Program and training and is the focal point for analysis on a full spectrum of issues affecting Soldier accession and recruitment. Serves as the Resilience and Risk Reduction Program Coordinator with the responsibility for the overall planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, standardization and promoting of a comprehensive and effective program aimed at the reduction of Soldier and civilian high-risk behaviors (e.g., domestic violence, drug and alcohol, suicide, etc.). Participates with military and other government agencies in the definition of research requirements, the planning for research utilization, and the establishment of objectives and policies pertaining to resilience and risk reduction. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience, education or training analyzing problems, identifying significant factors, gathering pertinent data and recognizing solutions; preparing reports, plans, policies and various correspondence; evaluating objectives and develop plans to facilitate the availability and effective utilization of various social science resources. Must have knowledge of the organization and its mission and utilized the organizational staff procedures. Experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of social science program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel, or substantive administrative support functions. Education EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences. or Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences. or Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: In addition to meeting the basic entry qualification requirements, applicants must have specialized experience and/or directly related education in the amounts shown in the table for Professional and Scientific Positions.
