Summary: Administer direct and develop adult residential group home supervised apartment respite and supportive housing programs that deliver client driven services in an environment of care that ensures quality and excellence in client care and recovery. Responsibilities: MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervise; develop and evaluate the performance of the adult residential management/leadership team: senior residential team manager residential team managers registered nurses nutritional and behavioral consultants. Initiate develop direct and oversee the quality of clinical services and the environment of care. Oversee and direct program admission and discharge planning to include referral evaluation assessment at admission and discharge. Initiate develop direct and monitor methods to ensure compliance with state licensure standards federal reimbursement regulations third party reimbursement regulations and national accreditation standards. Develop manage and monitor adult residential programs budgets. Direct and oversee the hiring management development and retention of adult residential services clinical care staff. Develop and implement residential policies and procedures. Oversee residential environment of care to include compliance with Joint Commission HUD and fire/life safety standards. Develops writes and completes reports within designated time frames. Reviews diagnoses evaluation recommendation and utilization of services as prepared by clinicians and/or residential managers and makes further recommendation as indicated. Analyzes clients programs to evaluate client outcomes/progress to determine effectiveness in order to effectively supervise and assure quality of work produced within departmental expectation. Conducts quality assurance activities to ensure availability of accurate information to determine effectiveness of program policies procedures and services. Initiate and develop new programs of service to meet client needs. Participate in developing programs service and financial targets. Ability to screen for substance abuse and provide assessment with indicated treatment planning counseling/education and referral. Other duties as assigned or needed. Other information: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Psychology Social Work or Nursing with 3 years experience in managing adult service programs preferred. Must obtain a LCDP (Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional) within one year. NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Candidates with supervisory experience in Human Service Program preferred. Certification as a qualified mental health professional within 6 months of hire. Training in CPR within 90 days from date of hire required. Successful completion of physical exam required. Must maintain a good driving record and the ability to use Center vehicles on an ongoing basis. JOB KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITY: Knowledge and experience of relevant Joint Commission and HUD standards to ensure licensing requirements. Sound knowledge of DSMIVR and treatment planning methods to address mental health and substance abuse problems. Ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary team in order to cultivate and maintain good working relations with all management staff. Effective management-level communication skills both written and oral: effectiveness evaluated and determined at discretion of supervisor. Thorough knowledge of community resources social service networking and access to relevant social welfare programs and entitlements. Thorough knowledge in mental health issues and in the behavioral manifestations of mental illness. Ability to successfully complete all required training and certifications Oral and written communication skills including speech grammar spelling and legibility are at sufficient level to ensure effective and appropriate communication. Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals either manually or by use of a calculator.
