Resident Engineer

Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking a well experienced Resident Engineer to support projects located within the New York, NY area.

Serves as technical expert in field inspections ad audits, recognized as the 'go-to' expert internally and externally

Provides guiding direction for inspections on engagements

Sets direction and goals for inspection and/or business line

External spokesperson on technical project issues

Leads the audit strategy for individual's area of expertise

Key point of contact for engagements and member of AECOM senior leadership team

Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties

Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records

Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning

Tracks quality assurance progress

Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers

Maintain inspections and inspection records
