The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Roles & Responsibilities: + Help improve our customers Electrolyzer product + Improve the mechanical design, ensuring efficiency and innovation. + Participate in design reviews. + Approve models and drawings. + Manage the conceptualization of modular mechanical design, promoting streamlined processes. + Oversee computer simulations and validation work, collaborate with experts to ensure quality results. + Interface with various engineering design teams (structural, process, electrical and instrumentation) for seamless integration. + Create clear work packages for CAD teams, ensuring high-quality modeling and drafting. Required Skills (Technical Competency): + 5+ years experience in a similar engineering role. + Experience with pipes, flanges, and pressure vessels + Familiar with design & manufacturing codes and standards: ASME Boiler Pressure Vessels Code Section 8, ASME 31.3, ASME 31.12, Canadian Registration systems (CRN) + 3D Parametric Software Experience (preferably using Creo & Windchill) + Ability to read, interpret, and decompose standards into requirements. + Capable of being on the floor and helping to solve manufacturing/quality/inspection issues, and report them back to engineering teams. + Able to read and understand P&ID's Desired Skills: + Experience with Oil & Gas, Energy, Chemistry. + Experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Contracting (EPC), preferably in Hydrogen, Oxygen service, Oil & Gas, or offshore equipment. + Knowledge of PTC Creo, and MS Office Physical Requirements & Work Environment: + Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement. + Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work. + Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures. + Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early. + Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM + Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
