Be our next Resident Engineer Your work environment at EXP EXP is currently seeking an energetic Resident Engineer to join our highly regarded construction management group in Southern California (Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange County and San Diego. What a day at EXP has in store for you Lead and manage construction management project team Effectively communicate with client, contractor(s) and project stakeholder(s) Schedule and assist with field inspections and project documentation Manage project subconsultants Lead team to provide QA for construction management projects Provide constructability reviews, construction cost estimates and construction schedules for design projects Ensure the project adhere to all plans and regulations Ensure safety measures are appropriately taken throughout the life of the project Assist with marketing pursuits What your experience looks like Local SoCal experience is highly desirable Substantial administrative ability with solid organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage and work within a team 7 plus years of experience with considerable Heavy / Highway construction industry knowledge with emphasis on Caltrans requirements and the Greenbook. Ability to work extended hours, weekends and nights PE License in California required Must have and maintain a good driving record Possess physical mobility and stamina for long shifts on a construction site The pay range for this role is $180,000 to $220,000 Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
