Research Scientist/Research Assistant Professor

Job Summary: This is a position for a highly skilled/trained researcher with expertise in computational approaches to large database analysis (i.e., many patients, timepoints, variables.) The researcher will be involved in data management and processing. The researcher will perform computer coding for signal processing and developing advanced analytical approaches for the research studies. Specifically, the researcher will prepare computer processes for data export, identification of appropriate epochs for analysis, data clipping, advanced cardiac ECG analysis, and analysis/statistics. The researcher will prepare figures and tables for presentations, as well as assist in writing manuscripts. The researcher will work under the direction of and be expected to interact/collaborate with other in-house/external collaborators and the PI to ensure the studies are conducted properly, maintain a laboratory notebook, and foster a collegial atmosphere. Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. Biomedical Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science Preferred Qualifications: Greater than one year of Biomedical Research Work Days: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Salary Range/Pay Rate: $55,000-60,000 Message to Applicants: Please submit CV and cover letter with application.
