Position Description Job Summary CertainTeed is seeking a talented, and energetic chemist/materials scientist/engineer to join our team. This position is part of the Asphalt Analytical Team within Roofing R&D and will be responsible for chemical, rheological, and mechanical analysis of different types of asphalts, polymers, and roofing products. The candidate will be responsible for small sub-project objectives and transform them into actionable tasks, including researching technologies, designing and executing experiments, and analyzing results. Under the direction of the principal investigator, the candidate will also design and run experiments, produce lab-scale samples, and analyze the experimental outcomes. In addition to conducting experiments on asphaltic materials, the candidate will be expected to perform common analytical experiments on different construction materials. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Science related field, Chemistry, Material Science Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering ,and other related disciplines.
