Research Associate

Hiring a Research Associate for a great company in Woodland, CA Must have experience within agriculture/farming to apply. M-F morning shift Description: Support the Woodland Research Station central team with multi crop seed filling, seed preparation sampling and data collection preparation activities and data collection. Operate and install devices and support specialized remote and proximal sensing equipment. Supervise and train others in these technologies. Follow specific protocols to collect, analyze and distribute large volumes of data. Supervise part-time employee crews to complete field activities according to protocols. Availability for overtime during peak seasons of planting, flowering and harvest. Contribute to maintaining a safe and respectful work environment. 100% site dedicated position. Skills: Agriculture, Farming, data collection, Farm hand Additional Skills & Qualifications: Candidates with field research and experience with working outside is an A candidate. They have had employees with roofing or construction in their work history. They also gravitate to candidates who have worked on a farm.
