Research Associate

Immediate opening for a Research Associate located in Oceanside, CA (Onsite).

Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

Participate in end-to-end Cell Line Development pipeline projects, including activities from vector design and construction to clonal cell lines ready for Master Cell Bank generation.

Support CLD activities including clone selection, technology development, media development, process optimization, and process characterization studies.

Support process improvements for increased speed and efficiency to generate highly productive, high quality, robust cell lines that meet all regulatory requirements with high quality documentation.

Hands-on laboratory operations such as molecular biology, shake flask, bench scale bioreactor and Client culture platforms.

Contribute to written technical reports, present in group meetings, and work cross-functionally to achieve common goals.

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40hrs./week

Pay Rate: $45 - 56/Hour

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree, Master Degree

5+ Years of Laboratory Experience (Academic and Industry)

Experience with culturing and cell line development of CHO cells

Experience with lab automation or HTS

Experience with bioreactors

Contract to Start, conversion/extension on performance
