Research Associate

The Juntti Lab at the University of Maryland is seeking a research technician. The lab studies the neuroscience and evolution of social behavior using cutting-edge technologies in molecular genetics, comparative anatomy, behavioral analysis, pharmacology, and more. Our model is the family of cichlid fish, which exhibit fascinating and variable social behaviors. We regularly use CRISPR and transgenesis to test mechanisms that regulate these interactions. We're looking for a motivated and organized candidate who will collaborate in the design and execution of experiments, and will facilitate operations in the lab.
