Job Summary Employs a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures to plan, coordinate and conduct applied research and technical assistance projects in areas related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, racial and social justice, and public policy and management. Engages in project planning, development, coordination and management, along with research activities that entails design, performing and overseeing data collection and analysis, ensuring data integrity, quality control and protocol compliance. Facilitates The Diversity Institute (TDI) workshops and works on program and project planning and management. Writes statistical and narrative reports, researches external funding opportunities. Assists with grant and funding proposal writing. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in a social science or related field. Five (5) years of experience in social science research, research design, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data collection, database design, and report writing. OR PhD in social science, human services, or related field with research experience including research design, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data collection, and data management. Preferred Qualifications Experience addressing issues relative to racial and social equity, diversity and inclusion. Experience working with diverse and underrepresented individuals and underserved communities. Working knowledge of institutional information requirements in higher education. Working knowledge of Ohio Board of Regents, government reporting requirements. Experience using Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, i.e. PeopleSoft.
