Immerse yourself in a fast-paced, innovative environment where you'll play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the Laboratory Sciences laboratory. About The Role As a Research Associate III, you will be at the forefront of groundbreaking research, contributing to the success of our laboratory through diverse responsibilities that go beyond the ordinary. Engage in hands-on activities such as equipment maintenance, supply stocking, and general cleaning while supporting our Biomarker assay team. What You'll Do Here Execute routine laboratory maintenance, ensuring a pristine and efficient workspace. Prepare materials, including animal blood and tissues, for analytical assays, performing assays with precision and meticulous documentation. Maintain and document the chain of custody for specimens, reagents, controls, and samples within the laboratory. Update facility records related to the laboratory and its analyses. Review laboratory records, procedures, and study data for completeness and accuracy. Document deviations to laboratory procedures and study protocols promptly, providing insights for corrective actions. Contribute to the calibration, optimization, maintenance, and data collection from analytical instruments. Actively participate in training and educational opportunities. Collaborate with other departments as needed. What You'll Need to Succeed Associate degree in scientific discipline plus a minimum of 6 months relevant laboratory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven ability to handle multiple assignments and maintain organization in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong reading and interpretation skills for safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, software manuals, study documents, and procedure manuals. Effective communication skills for addressing groups of customers or employees. Intermediate to Advanced Math Skills. Experience with Large Molecule PK or Biomarker preferred. What We Offer The pay range estimated for this position is $23 - $30 hourly. Please note that hourly rates/salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, prior relevant experience, skills, education, certification, location as well as internal equity and market data.
